• A simple spin on the classic game of I SPY ("Cherche et trouve" ou "C'est moi l'espion") geared towards Core French/FSL students in which they are first given practice with the structure: "Est-ce que c'est..." and answering the question with the affirmative, "oui, c'est..." or the negative, "non, ce n'est pas..."

• Students are then provided an opportunity to take turns being the spy - using objects in your classroom.

• It also comes with a 11" x 8.5" placemat to laminate (or to project onto your whiteboard/Smartboard) to provide students a visual when playing the game.

  • Colors, shapes, textures and prepositional phrases (left, right, on, under, behind) as well as size (big, small) are provided to give your students confidence and the vocabulary needed to make this game a hit!

• I also provide an explanation of how I use this in my Core French classroom.
